Low Fat or Less Calories foods – What is Better?

November 30, 2009 By: Heiley G. Category: Diet Secrets, Weight watcher`s lifestyle

low_fat_or_less_caloriesAs a healthy lifestyle fan, while weight watching and dieting, I used to wonder many times wether to choose low fat foods that have extra calories, or go for the less calories products, that often contains higher grams of fat. I have recentely learnd that each gram of fat is basically dissolving to 9 calories once congest in our system, therefore, when it comes to making a smart choice, as simple as math can get, if a product contains 100 calories “only”, but has 5 grams of fat per serving, it means that you get to eat 100 + ( 9×5 )= 100 + 45 = 145 calories overall!  Pay attention to how many grams of fat there is in the foods you buy and eat, since calories are easier to burn, and since eventually fat becomes calories!

Makeup Brush, Or Fingers Brush!?

November 20, 2009 By: Heiley G. Category: Beauty Secrets

using_makeup_brushes_or_fingers

Its amazing how many cosmetics experts, make-up artists and beauty products consultants recommend using makeup brush while applying any make-up products. Including all makeup types, as liquid foundation, eye shadows AND lipsticks, it seems like this is the right way to go. However, recent beauty research shows that using our fingers is a better way to go… While using your fingers, you basically naturally smooth in the makeup powder or liquid deeper into the skin. That human touch helps in keeping all make-up applications last longer, blend in nicer and prevent an over do. Next time, before spending a fortune on some makeup brushes, simply try using those fingers of yours. Just like old times. Trust me- you`d get the best natural look!
