  • Using Birth Control Pills DOES NOT effect or reduce the chances of conceiving furute wise. The other way around- Birth Control Pills can actually protect the uterus.
  • As long as you are a non smoker, and your blood pressure is balanced, even if you`re over 35, you should not have any concern taking Birth Control Pills.

Zero Fat isn`t always Non Fat:

groceries_smart_shoppingSupermarkets shelves are loaded with products claiming to contain 0 trans fat.  However, what many of us are not aware of is that this “zero” on labels isn’t necessarily a REAL Zero! Since according to the FDA trans fat labeling rulesand guideline, products may contain up to 0.5 grams of trans fat per serving in order to be claimed as “Zero” trans fat on their label. Companies are simply taking advantage of these regulations which results in deceiving us, the consumers!
Before you purchase your next box of crackers, cookies or any other product with a “zero trans fat” or “trans fat free” labels, take a look at the ingredients list. Be aware that labels don’t always tell the full story and try to pay attention to the nutrition facts which are normally located at the back of the product, in smaller fonts. That would tell you if the “Zero” is a real non-fat or maybe it is 0.3 or 0.4 grams of trans fat!  The reason this is so important is since the recommended daily limit of trans fat we should consume is 2 grams only! (about %1 of the daily calories, based on an 2,000 calorie diet). Just one of these so-called “zero grams trans fat” servings at each meal could easily adds up, therefore- Awareness please!!!

Amazing how a supermodel can be so deep and proves to know nutrition, yoga and inner peace knowledge. According to a latest interview, the 26 years old Miranda Kerr has been working on a book over the past few years, `Treasure Yourself`, which is a motivational self-help book to encourage young women and girls to respect their own beauty and feel confident in themselves. Miranda has an incredible busy modeling career especially with `Victoria Secret` and she somehow manages to be one of the most grounded girls in the fashion and modeling business. She credits her inner calm to YOGA and MEDITATION, which have shown to improve heart health, lower bad cholesterol, cut stress, reduce migraines, bolster the immunity, lessen depression and fight pain symptoms.

Some food can benefits our skin in different levels. However, these following ones are at the top list, and are highly recommended if you wish to keep your natural beauty skin as healthy and glowing as possible, before even applying any type of facial creams or anti-aging products. It is simple-  Stay healthy and look great at the same time! Eat more of these foods:

  • Wild Salmon: A prime source of omega-3 fatty acids, which can reduce skin inflammation and prevent redness, wrinkles and future sagging
  • Yogurt: (and make sure it is a low-fat one, of course) gives bone boosting and more calcium then a glass of skin milk.
  • Oysters: Yes, ladies and gentlemens, Oysters are a top source of Zing, which helps build collagen and speed up skin renewal and repair.
  • Blueberries: from my Antioxidants  list, blueberries are full of them, and can prevent long term cell damage.
  • Kiwifruit: One of my favorite fruits. It is rich in potassium as banana, however add its plenty of vitamin C and you promote glowing, wrinkle free skin! Luv this one!
  • Sweet Potatoes: full with Beta-carotene, which helps smooth the skin.
  •  Tomatoes: are major source of lycopene, combined with their anitioxidants can protect against sunburn.
  • Walnuts: rich with omega 3 and help fight against skin ailments like psoriasis and eczema.
  • Dark Chocolate: last but not least, great news for the chocolate lovers: it is full with antioxidants and nutrients cocoa, which helps boost hydration, smoothness and protection against sun exposure.  (choose chocolates with %60 percent cocoa).
