Think Outside The (Lunch) Box:

December 09, 2009 By: Heiley G. Category: Diet Secrets, Favorite Chic Secrets, Recommended Products!, Weight watcher`s lifestyle

It`s about time I`ll dedicate a post to write about my favorite weight watcher lunch meal- my best diet savor. I wont lie, that lunch box does have a very small portion of food however, it`s the exact amount of food my body needs, and you simply make your stomach shrink and get used to it fast, while dieting or watching your weight on a daily base, especially if planning on having a decent dinner later on that day.  Yes, I`m talking about Lean Cuisine brand. With the average of 300-400 calories and 8 grams of fat per box, I get to microwave a fresh, restaurant tasteful dish, with so many versions to choose from, it is absolutely impossible not to find some great versions you like! Those are the meals I like the best after trying almost every Lean-Cuisine dish available out there… and really, these are my favorite ones which I recommend at least trying: (by they way, did I mention they only cost 2 to 3 dollars a box?!?! not just a diet savor, ha?!)  ENJOY!!!

Low Fat or Less Calories foods – What is Better?

November 30, 2009 By: Heiley G. Category: Diet Secrets, Weight watcher`s lifestyle

low_fat_or_less_caloriesAs a healthy lifestyle fan, while weight watching and dieting, I used to wonder many times wether to choose low fat foods that have extra calories, or go for the less calories products, that often contains higher grams of fat. I have recentely learnd that each gram of fat is basically dissolving to 9 calories once congest in our system, therefore, when it comes to making a smart choice, as simple as math can get, if a product contains 100 calories “only”, but has 5 grams of fat per serving, it means that you get to eat 100 + ( 9×5 )= 100 + 45 = 145 calories overall!  Pay attention to how many grams of fat there is in the foods you buy and eat, since calories are easier to burn, and since eventually fat becomes calories!

November 24, 2009 By: Heiley G. Category: Health Benefits, Weight watcher`s lifestyle

Gluten is a type of protein, which can be found in wheat seeds. If you mix pure gluten with water you can create labor glue. Gluten, on top of the food industry is being used as stamps glue and cosmetics products. Inside our body, the gluten creates layers of sticky glue which hurts foods absorption and can cause many ails such as: rush, swelling and even depression and anxiety. Choose gluten-free foods and EAT LESS GLUTEN!!! It`s your health!!!

There are so many anti aging products, painful shots and cosmetics procedures, claiming to slow down the clock and prevent a younger looking skin from becoming older looking one. However, as agreed by doctors and dermatologists and captured by many celebrities and famous beautiful stars, , there are several natural ways that may keep you from aging before your time. It is very simple-

Follow these 5 natural secrets and control  your skin`s future:

  • Use an SPF sunscreen all year round. Especially on your face! (simply get it in your daily moisturizer product).
  • Deal with stress! Aim for a daily time outs, like Yoga, or walk after dinner.
  • Eat more unti-aging foods to prevent wrinkles, such as Antioxidants and rich in Vitamins E and Vitamin C foods.
